Established in 1899, the Middlesex County Bar Association (MCBA) is one of the oldest, continuously operating, county bar associations in the country.The MCBA is a voluntary membership association open to all attorneys who practice in Middlesex County.The MCBA has several hundred members and maintains offices at the Middlesex Superior Court in Woburn.The MCBA is governed by its Executive Officers and Council, all of whom are elected by the general membership.

Our October monthly meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 21st, 5:30 p.m. at Polcari's, Montvale Ave in Woburn. Contact Diane Verner at 781.939.2797 if you plan to attend.

It's not too soon to be thinking about our Annual Banquet, which will be held on Thursday, November 6th at the Montvale Plaza in Stoneham. More information will follow....

In the News....

Over 40 law students attended this year's Middlesex County Bar Association Law Day. Speakers included District Attorney Marian Ryan and MCBA President Terrence Parker, who spoke on the history of Law Day and the importane of education.

All students received a Law Day Citizenship Award and a Certificate of Achievement from both the Middlesex County Sheriff and the Middlesex District Attorney.

In addition, the Judge Cullen Memorial Scholarship and the Karen Lombard Memorial Scholarship were awarded.
